POSITION SUMMARY (PURPOSE OF POSITION):

The Store Manager – Aurora Dugout Store is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the Colorado Rockies Dugout Store located in Aurora, CO. This includes delivering exceptional fan experiences, managing all sales functions, supervising a dynamic team, and maintaining a well-presented, profitable retail location. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in retail leadership, a passion for customer service, and an ability to manage both the strategic and operational aspects of the store. This role plays a key part in supporting the Rockies brand in the local community and driving revenue through effective retail practices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide outstanding customer service to create long-term customers.
• Serve as a key point of contact for Rockies-related information.
• Manage day-to-day merchandise and game ticket sales.
• Perform daily operations including cash deposits, credit card reconciliations, and merchandise restocking.
• Maintain engaging merchandise displays with weekly refreshes.
• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and upkeep.
• Hire, train, supervise, and schedule retail associates; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Execute inventory control programs to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Uphold store security procedures and loss prevention protocols.
• Collaborate on local marketing and advertising opportunities to grow store presence and sales.
• Operate and troubleshoot retail POS and ticketing systems.
• Regularly report store performance and operational needs to Operations Manager – Dugout Stores and Senior Director – Retail Operations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directly supervises Sales Associates – Dugout Store Aurora.

WORK SCHEDULE:
• The store operates 7 days per week. Schedule varies weekly and includes both administrative and customer-facing responsibilities.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
• Ability to climb a ladder and work from a different plane.
• Frequent reach, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Manual dexterity to operate POS systems and handle merchandise.
• Visual acuity to inspect merchandise, read labels, and process transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy, fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to navigate and move about in a retail environment, including stockrooms and display areas.

SALARY RANGE:
• The base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $65,000. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, job-related skills, and any other factors the Colorado Rockies consider relevant to the hiring decision for this position.
