Summer Intern - Minidrama Screenwriting

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

COL Media is searching for Summer 2025 Screenwriting Intern candidates. Ideal candidates are genuinely interested in vertical mini-dramas (??), including English female-oriented ones, and Chinese male-oriented dramas and anime.

Duties include working with our screenwriters to learn how vertical dramas work, to write drama outlines and screenplays, and to assist with existing screenwriting projects.

Interns gain in-depth experience watching a variety of mini-dramas, analyzing and learning from blockbuster hits, adapting them in their own way, and creating original dramas from scratch.

Vertical mini-drama is a new and emerging field, and we look forward to feeling its pulse, exploring its depths, and pushing its boundaries together with you.

Candidates must be current students, and be able to commit between 16-20 hours per week. The internship is unpaid and intended for course credit. The program is 3 months long with some flexibility in start and end dates based on the term and curriculum of your school program. Curricular Practical Training (CPT) work authorization is required for international students.
