COL Media is searching for mini-drama screenwriter candidates for mini-drama projects. Ideal candidates come from screenwriting backgrounds and preferably already have exposure to the format. The ideal candidate needs to write fast and be adaptive to the development notes.
COL Media is the LA branch of the COL Group, which is one of the largest digital publishers in China. Established in 2000, COL Group became a publicly traded company in 2015, being listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. It is one of the forerunners of the now-popular mini-drama format and runs 3 platforms in North America.
The position is paid, remote and project-based. We have ongoing projects every month, so we look for good candidates that we can ideally work with for the long-term. The candidates will be working on original concepts developed by us, but sometimes the assignments are adaptations. The genre will be the most common mini-drama genres, i.e., mostly romance, romcom, YA, but sometimes can go creative to thriller or even horrors.
Salary/Benefits
2000.00 - 3000.00 /project, normally a script needs to be written within a month's timeframe. Some experienced writer can complete faster than that.
