Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Creative Executive to join our production company. The Creative Executive will be responsible for developing the creative vision and execution of multiple TVshow projects in our slate. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively with a team of executives, writers, producers, and agents.
Responsibilities:
Work with the development team to develop projects in our slate
Provide clear and convincing verbal and written creative notes on story materials
Write copy and provide creative direction for project pitch deck
Spearhead research initiatives, integrate ongoing research into story development
Build and maintain relationships with writers, producers, agents, managers and other key players in the industry
Liaise with internal teams (Parent Company, Business Development, Legal, Marketing, PR, etc.) to operate and deliver against goals
Source and evaluate potential materials for our slate
Work with legal and business affairs on deals
Participate in creative meetings involving executives and key creative leadership teams
Manage assistant(s) and our intern team
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Fluent in English and Mandarin
Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, media studies, journalism, literature, or related fields
3+ years of experience in a creative role in the entertainment industry
Advanced writing and verbal communication skills, including flawless grammar and a rich vocabulary
Proven ability to develop and pitch TV shows to outlets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines. A calm head and steady hand to deal with the unexpected

Some flexibility in your schedule - we value work/life balance, but in a pinch, a bit more time is needed as executives sometimes work across time zones
Solid organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
A highly professional demeanor, positive outlook, and a can-do attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Mac environment
