Fall Intern - Short-Form Video Editing

Internship Start Date/Season: Fall 2026, approximately September through December 2026
Internship Duration: One semester, approximately 3 to 4 months
Time/Days Required: Approximately 8 to 12 hours per week, typically spread across 2 to 3 days. Scheduling is flexible around the intern's school schedule.
Workplace Location Requirements: Hybrid. Most editing work can be completed remotely. Interns may occasionally come to our Downtown Burbank office in the old Cartoon Network Building for training, meetings, feedback sessions, or production days.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Interns will primarily support our short-form video editing and postproduction workflow. Responsibilities may include editing vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, editing talking-head videos and first-person video essays, tightening pacing, adding captions and on-screen text, basic audio cleanup, adding B-roll or images, organizing project files, and preparing final exports.
Skills and Experience:
All editing experience levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced. Applicants should have some familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or a similar program. Students studying film, television, video production, postproduction, digital media, communications, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
What Interns Will Gain:
Interns will receive hands-on experience editing real short-form content, mentorship and feedback from working content creators, experience with professional postproduction workflows, and opportunities to strengthen their editing portfolio. Interns will also learn how short-form content is structured, edited, revised, and prepared for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
College Credit:
This internship is for college credit. Applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit through their college or university. CoCreator X can work with the student and their school to complete required internship paperwork and evaluations.

Our work includes first-person video essays, educational content, talking-head videos, interviews, and creator-led storytelling. We work with creators, businesses, educators, and organizations to develop consistent short-form content built specifically for social media environments.
Interns will have the opportunity to work directly with real-world short-form projects and gain hands-on experience with the editing style, pacing, formatting, and production workflows used by active content creators.
