The VP of Digital Franchises will lead the strategic vision, P&L management, and commercial execution for all audio, newsletter and social / off-platform content and products at CNN.
This leader will partner with the Audience, Strategic Partnerships, Product, Advertising, Growth and Content teams to expand market reach and ensure the continued growth and profitability of the audio, email and video businesses.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and profitability from CNN's podcast, email newsletter, feature video (digital series, short-form content, live streaming) and social / off-platform content and products across CNN.
• Develop, manage and adhere to budgets for audio, email, feature video and social / off-platform.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to ensure the company remains innovative and at the forefront of audio and video content.
• Partner with Editorial, Data, Advertising, Audience, Strategic Partnerships, Product, Advertising, Growth and Strategy teams to enable premium user and content experiences that advance CNN's overall strategy of ''becoming essential every day'' while enabling a premium direct to consumer subscription experience.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
• 12+ years of experience in digital media, business operations, or related fields
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful revenue growth strategies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans
• Expertise in unique and distinctive audio, video, text and multiplatform media
• Experience in managing partnerships and vendor relationships in the digital media landscape
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience presenting to senior executives
• Deep understanding of digital advertising, content monetization, and emerging revenue models in the media industry
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments in a fast-paced environment

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $175,000.00 - $325,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
