Visual Investigative Reporter/Producer

The Visual Investigations OSINT Reporter/Producer is a tenacious data journalist who will work closely with senior editors, producers and reporters to uncover fresh new stories, break news and track high-profile editorial threads for some of the network's most high-stakes reporting. The Visual Investigations OSINT Reporter/Producer is adept at open-source intelligence newsgathering and is constantly looking for ways to push CNN's reporting to the next visual level.

Your Role Accountabilities:
• Organized, meticulous, tenacious and able to forensically dig through various sources to find investigative threads
• Experience with open-source research techniques such as geo and chronolocations, satellite imagery analysis, flight and ship-tracking, Google Earth
• Ability to multi-task and work on both short-term and long-term projects and under tight deadlines during breaking news
• Ability to leverage digital and human information sources for story ideas
• Skilled at taking investigative information and turning it into compelling visual stories from idea to execution
• Ability to build timeline and map of events during breaking news and investigations
• Familiar with factchecking, legal and standards approval procedures
• A strong sense of visuals and sound, ability to create stories for all CNN platforms.

Qualifications and experience:
• Minimum 5 years experience with a range of open-source techniques.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Excellent writing skills
• Collaborative, with excellent communication skills

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $64,260.00 - $119,340.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
