Position Title:
Talent Executive Assistant – CNN
Job Summary:
The Talent Executive Assistant will provide a range of administrative support to show Anchor(s), managing scheduling, travel, and communication with high-profile figures. The ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and strong organizational skills, working independently to support the Anchor(s) efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
• Arrange travel, transportation, and accommodations, including last-minute changes
• Coordinate meetings with high-profile figures and prepare necessary materials
• Answer and screen calls, respond to inquiries, and manage internal communication
• Manage expense reports, budgets, and purchases
• Compose emails, proposals, and presentations
• Assist in preparing briefing documents for the Anchor(s)
• Provide on-the-go support during travel with talent
• Coordinate with multiple departments involved in talent management
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of executive or talent administrative experience
• Must be on-call 24/7 and able to travel at short notice
• Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite, Google Docs, Slack, Zoom, Box, Dropbox
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with current events and political calendars
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain composure, and ensure confidentiality
