What does our department do?
• CNN TV Research and Analytics provides data and insights on the TV Media landscape and CNN's performance across various programming.
• The team blends primary and secondary research to inform a variety of high profile internal stakeholders with strategic insights.

What will you be doing?
• Develop a deep understanding of the television landscape and research, and how they intersect
• Collect, verify and summarize data across multiple sources
• Aid in production of daily and regular reporting needs
• Help team in needs of supporting original series research request (including but not limited to Anthony Bourdain's: Parts Unknown)
• Use software applications (such as: Nielsen, Arianna, Star Media, etc.) that extract TV data

What do we need from you?
• Candidate must have knowledge, interest and passion of TV, News, and Media - Ability to master new software
• Solid math skills and must be comfortable with numbers and data - Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid problem-solving skills, organized, and astute attention to detail
• Need to have sound base skills in Microsoft

Summer 2018 program
• June 4th through August 10th.
• Interns are paid at minimum-wage based on location and relocation is not provided.
• Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation.
• Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
