The Team
Creative Production (Creative Marketing) We believe that great marketing is led by great creative. Execution is critical but it is pointless without the idea. CNN Creative Marketing is a place where the right brain and left brain work together. The CNN Creative Marketing team creates promotion (online, print and digital) for CNN Worldwide - for all of its networks and on every platform. In addition to stellar promotion, the CNN Creative Marketing team also creates internal videos, sizzle reels and presentations for their clients and partners.
The Job
• CNN Creative Marketing - Production Intern
The Daily
• Assist producers during edit sessions. (learning the craft of scriptwriting, editing, selecting music, and supervising voice-over sessions).
• Conduct video research to support projects. (selecting the best footage and soundbites for each project).
• Serve as production assistant on local shoots.
• Execute various tasks as assigned.
The Essentials
• Willingness and eagerness to learn.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
• Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Awareness of current events/headlines, major news stories and CNN programming.

Summer 2020 program dates are June 1st through August 7th. Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
