Warner Brothers Discovery is looking for an experienced Social Analyst for the international business. This team is an internal paid social media agency within Warner Brothers Discovery that handles advertiser-sponsored campaigns for CNN International.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Take responsibility for campaign set up and execution (including creation of dark posts)
• QA other Analysts' campaigns
• Monitor seeding cost and keep activations team well-informed of performance and tracking against KPIs
• Analyse campaign performance and populate Weekly/Monthly reporting and wrap report template
• Create, find, and leverage custom audiences across 1st party DMP (Data Management Platform) and 3rd party lists
• Proactively flag issues with active campaigns (e.g., pricing, delivery, reporting, workflow) and suggest solutions to supervisor. Work with platform partners to resolve issues.
• Have a strong understanding of paid social and social media trends/vendors and research and present social trends, competitive insights and other relevant information both internally within the Paid Social and Amplification team, as well as externally for clients and across the WarnerMedia Ad Sales organization
• Actively seek ways to improve efficiencies of overall operations of the paid social team
• Contribute to high-level team projects that work to build, improve, expand, introduce and implement new ad sales products and new platforms.
Qualifications and Experience…
• Proven experience in paid social, digital marketing or social insights at an agency or media publisher.
• Experience executing and managing campaigns using Facebook Ads Manager & Power Edito or Google AdWords
• Knowledge of paid social landscape, including optimization techniques and strategies, bidding models, tracking techniques, targeting options, KPIs, and ad units across variety of social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to translate deep learnings into actionable recommendations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Working knowledge of one or more social analytics & insights tools a plus
