PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Mid-level Project Manager for CNN Create plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of branded content campaigns for CNNIC Create's advertising partners. The Mid-level Project Manager will ensure that each task on sold campaigns are fulfilled, from scheduling, scoping, estimating, managing, co-ordination with Sales and internal communications and approvals from internal Create stakeholders. The Mid-Level Project Manager will track and report on budget/schedule performance for each project pro-actively communicating to Sales teams and Clients on project status, execution, quality control and general ownership of the project.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overseeing pre-production requirements at campaign confirmation 35%
• Tactical, daily project-level management ensuring a responsive, seamless, on-time and on-budget process from start to finish that adheres to standardized work flow systems and processes
• Develop and maintain project plans, scope of work, milestones, schedules, budget tracking and
• other project related documents, identify and mitigate project risks
• Confirm timelines and budgets with all stakeholders, including live dates and client turnarounds
• Establish and document campaign requirements using internal production tools (Workfront, Avvoka, Team Gannt to create detailed timelines and project tracking etc)
• Collaborate with the APAC and Global Leads, Strategy, Production, Digital, Sales and Marketing
• stakeholders to develop project and bring projects and completion
• Communicate key milestones to all internal stakeholders
Efficient supervision of live campaigns 40%
• Manages delivery of campaign assets for internal approval
• Coordinates approval of campaign assets with sales teams
• Enforces all timelines for on-time launch dates
• Updates all campaign activity on production tools for proper documentation of campaign
• progress
• Update timeline on an as needed basis and communicate updates to all stakeholders
• Provides regular project status updates to the Sales teams and Clients
Management of vendor agreements and procurement process 25%
• Ensures timely facilitation of fees and financial requirements with partners and vendors
• Efficient coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure financial discipline
• Manages onboarding of additional resources from an IT, Financial and induction perspective
• Work closely with APAC and Global Legal to process documentation and ensure legal approval
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential
• Mid-level English skills in written and oral and the ability to translate documentation in both Japanese and English
• Above average skills in interpersonal communications, both with internal and external stakeholders
• Broad knowledge and experience in project management for creative-driven campaigns
• Experience in digital and publishing and platforms
• Detail-driven, organized, strong prioritization skills
• Highly adaptable and solutions oriented with good judgement
• Self-confident, proactive and decisive
• Systematic, innovative thinker
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently and meet deadlines
• Years of experience: , minimum 4+ years Project Management including Digital and Video content
• Ability to manage multiple partners stakeholders and team members
• Broad knowledge and experience in digital ad banner formats (Celtra and HTML5)
• Ability to execute lateral thinking and creative problem solving
• Previous experience in a production company, publishing company or advertising agency
• Experience developing SOWs, timelines estimates
• Able to understand other disciplines and processes
• Ability to do routine administrative process driven duties, finances, maintaining databases, filing work etc
• Flexibility to work across teams in multiple Asian cities (Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Japan, China)
• Flexibility to work across global regions UK, USA if necessary
• May need to travel and work out of other regions if necessary
Desirable
• General knowledge of film video production
• General knowledge of digital production
• General knowledge broadcast media industry processes
• General knowledge of a wide network of vendors in at least two markets in Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, SEA countries)
