CNN is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Coordinator of Program & Content Strategy to support critical aspects of our scheduling process intended for Direct-To-Consumer streaming (DTC) and Video On Demand (VOD) platforms. This role involves scheduling content availability, updating grids and documents, and effectively communicating programming plans and changes across the organization. The Coordinator will work across multiple systems to ensure that programming is efficiently scheduled and available, supporting CNN's commitment to delivering timely and relevant content to our audience.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Ensure content availability across CNN's internal and external non-linear platforms, including Direct-To-Consumer (DTC), Video On Demand (VOD), TV Everywhere (TVE), and Electronic Sell-Thru (EST). Support inventory creation and scheduling of CNN Original Series, daily and weekly news series, documentaries, and specials. Manage content entitlement windows across several systems including Radius, Distribute, and Broadview. (35%)
• Maintain and enhance DTC and TVE landing pages across CNN.com and CNN apps. Utilize CNN's Content Management System (CMS) to create and update show pages, upload key art, and ensure all media is accessible and playable. Strategically curate series carousels to highlight featured content and enhance viewer engagement within the platform. (25%)
• Own an up-to-date tracking sheet to ensure accurate content availability across all platforms. Publish detailed scheduling grids to relevant stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with programming plans. Announce new premiere content and platform launches within CNN. (15%)
• Efficiently triage content availability issues, coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure timely resolution. Work closely with affiliate, product, and IT teams to address and resolve issues. Swiftly react to breaking news scenarios that disrupt scheduled program premieres, ensuring minimal viewer impact. (10%)
• Analyze viewer data insights to shape and optimize programming strategies across all platforms, ensuring content resonates with audience. (10%)
• Evaluate the non-linear news environment to identify trends and opportunities for strategic advantage. Utilize current events, holidays, and anniversaries to inform and drive impactful programming choices. (5%)
Your Qualifications & Experience...
• 2+ years of work experience, preferably in television, media or a related field
• Understanding of television, news, and media industries
• Knowledge and/or awareness of non-linear content entitlements, including Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Video on Demand (VOD), and TV Everywhere (TVE)
• Must be well-organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritize and be detail oriented
• Passion for current events and news
• Ability to meet deadlines and have excellent follow-up skills
• Advanced experience in Microsoft products especially Excel

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $47,844.00 - $88,853.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
