Your New Role...
The Producer 2 will be responsible for supporting the International Content Unit. This position will help manage the CNN Fast Channel, CNN Max initiatives, and will create content for CNN International and the platforms it feeds into. The Producer 2 will also be responsible for building and outputting live shows when required.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Writing scripts and packages, and creating additional content.
• Pitch and produce creative map and explainer segments, collaborating closely with graphics team.
• Supporting management of CNN Fast content.
• Supporting management of CNN Max initiatives.
• Collaborate with supervisors, anchors and newsgathering colleagues to deliver strong, live newscasts.
• Be across key video and sound to call elements during shows.
• Partner with guest planners on focused segments.
• Coordinate with copy editors on writing assignments.
• Have a keen sense of show time, and demonstrate responsibility in placing sponsored content where required.
Qualifications
& Experience...
• Must have a minimum of two years of experience line-producing network programming and have demonstrated the ability to build thoughtful rundowns independently.
• Ability to write copy quickly and have a strong knowledge of font codes and procedures.
• Possess a demonstrated interest in international news.
