This is a Full Time Job
The Editorial Producer for ''King Charles'' plays a big and active role in developing, launching, and programming this highly anticipated show hosted by Gayle King and Charles Barkley. This person must be highly creative and curious, with a great appreciation for the zeitgeist and popular culture, while also having outstanding news judgement. You'll be working with a small team, embedded within a larger team, charged with planning and producing one hour of live and interactive television each week. There's not a show like this out there – this person will help create something unique and special.
Your Role Accountabilities…
The Editorial Producer will play an active role in helping the Senior Producer, Producer and others develop and launch this new show. This is a highly collaborative role that involves generating creative ideas for each week's program, suggesting show bookings, and producing interviews with guests if needed, at the direction of the Senior Producer. A successful candidate must be a self starter who needs minimal direction and supervision, but can also assimilate quickly into a new culture and play really well with others.
Must be flexible and able to regularly work long hours.
A positive, ''can do,'' attitude is essential.
Qualifications and Experience…
• 6+ years of news production or related experience
• Track record of success working with and booking high profile talent
• Proven ability to think creatively about different voices we want to hear from on important stories and issues
• Insatiable curiosity coupled with a love of hard news and pop culture
• Control room experience required – must know how to trouble shoot live TV
• Strong writing and production skills
• Collaborative personality with an aptitude for working under pressure
• Cool, calm, and always collected
• Outstanding judgment, critical and strategic thinking, organization skills, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic
• A bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $80,500.00 - $149,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
