International Planning Producer

CNN International is looking for a Planning Producer to join our team!

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Lead guest booking efforts, securing top experts, newsmakers, and diverse voices for live programming.
• Participate in daily editorial meetings, contributing to coverage plans and pitching compelling segment and guest ideas.
• Coordinate guest scheduling across time zones, coordinating logistics and preparing guests for live shows.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring a consistently positive experience across CNN International shows.
• Respond quickly to breaking news by identifying, vetting, and securing the right voices to help tell impactful stories.
• Collaborate with producers, writers, and editorial teams across CNN to deliver high-quality programming.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in television journalism, including proven guest booking experience.
• Strong editorial judgment and deep knowledge of international news, particularly in the EMEA region.
• Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills; able to thrive under pressure.
• Initiative, creativity, and a passion for finding new and diverse voices.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $70,001.00 - $130,002.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
