Full Time Unpaid Internship
What will you be doing?
Distribute press releases/media alerts
• Distribute the press release to relevant APAC contacts
• Manage CNN media lists for distribution purposes
• Understand the target audience of the press releases and pitch to relevant media
Coverage reports
• Monitor print and online media for CNN coverage
• Compile and distribute CNN coverage reports on a weekly basis
• Compile and present post-campaign analysis reports
Agency support
• Manage communication between the team and PR agencies
Research
• Assist in research when preparing briefing notes for anchors / correspondents / executives
Social Media
• Working in consultation with the team, plan and execute campaigns on social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter etc.
• Continually monitor social media activity
Others
• Handle requests from other regions (EMEA, the U.S. and LATAM)
• Handle administrative tasks such as invoices
What do we require from you?
• University degree in Communications or Public Relations
• Newly graduated or 1 year experience working in Communications/Public Relations
• Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Other Asian languages a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
• Active user of the internet and well versed with social media platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft (Office, Powerpoint and Excel). Some knowledge using Photoshop a plus.
