We're seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the evolution of CNN Digital Content Platform. This role is pivotal in defining and driving the next generation content creation platform that allows our global editorial teams to create, program, and publish breaking news. - With a focus on editorial experience, you'll provide strategic leadership to a team of product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver a stellar content creation experience that anticipates the needs of our stakeholders and enables innovative storytelling. This candidate should have a deep understanding of newsroom workflows, expertise in content management systems, and the ability to champion the needs of a diverse range of editorial partners.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Provide visionary leadership and direction to the Editorial Experience Product Management team, ensuring alignment with CNN's strategic objectives .
• Lead the collaborative efforts across Product, Engineering, Design, and Editorial teams to develop long-term product roadmaps.
• Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and user feedback to guide the product strategy.
• Spearhead and prioritize key initiatives that elevate the user experience for our editorial teams.
• Drive a culture of excellence, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality editorial tools and features.
• Mentor and grow the product management team, instilling best practices and fostering continuous learning.
• Oversee the training, onboarding, documentation, and support processes for new product features, ensuring seamless integration into the editorial workflow.
Qualifications & Experience…
• 10+ years in digital product management, with a strong preference for candidates from the Media sector.
• Proven track record of developing, launching, and scaling content management systems and editorial tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience of using data-driven insights to influence strategic decisions.
• Stellar communication and collaboration skills, with experience in influencing senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage complex product roadmaps and coordinate with multiple teams for unified delivery.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skillset, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $207,900.00 - $386,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
