Your New Role…
The Coordinating Producer develops, produces and manages daily editorial and custom content in support of Newsource Live, Newsource Distribution, and Newsource's Digital platforms. This position requires proven editorial, writing and logistics abilities to meet the primary obligation of producing and delivering promised content and live services to more than 1,000 CNN affiliates and clients worldwide. The Coordinating Producer will be proficient in identifying strong sound, graphics, and video for daily news packages, as well as feature stories and special reports, and will frequently pitch strong story ideas. The Coordinating Producer will travel for local, regional, and national breaking news coverage with little advanced notice. This role works directly with other editorial and technical members within Newsource, as well as our CNN production partners in Los Angeles and other CNN bureaus to ensure that Newsource affiliates are receiving the highest quality product possible.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Write and produce daily news packages on a range of topics
• Frequent travel required with short notice
• Respond and dispatch quickly with a Newsource correspondent to breaking news stories in the field to support overall Newsource service goals
• Collaborate with Newsource technical director, affiliate control room, and field crews to coordinate live shots
• Line produce multiple live hours for reporters in a control room
• Pitch story ideas, set up remote shoots, and oversee production for Newsource original packages
• Serve as onsite representative for Newsource during major CNN special events
Qualifications
& Experience…
• At least 5 years of experience as a broadcast and editorial producer
• Extensive experience writing news packages, producing live programs, and working with on-air talent
• Strong field production management experience
• Some Spanish language writing and producing experience preferred

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skillset, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $86,100.00 - $159,900.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
