Responsibilities
CNBC Digital is seeking an multiskilled and detail obsessed Video Producer to focus on creating original videos, including short-form documentaries, interviews, and explainers, for our growing video team under the NYC-based Make It brand. CNBC Make It is a fast-growing, consumer-friendly section of CNBC, devoted to aspirational content about entrepreneurship, leadership, careers, and money. This role requires a seasoned Video Producer who is passionate about video production and Make It's unique voiceâ€''someone who is comfortable covering topical news, unique human interest profiles, feature length stories and has exceptional editorial skills will be the ideal candidate.
What you'll do:
• Create quick-turn and longer form video content for mobile, social and digital audiences
• Generate unique, original video pitches both independently and in partnership with reporters for multimedia executions
• Write, edit and produce original videos under tight deadlines
• Utilize text, graphics, original footage and third-party footage to build engaging video stories
• Provide constructive production and editorial feedback to junior producers

Qualifications
/Requirements
What you'll bring:
At least 4 years of experience at the network or agency production level writing, producing, and editing digital video
• General knowledge of current events and business news
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere and mid-level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
• Sound editorial news judgement
• Strong ability to shoot video with industry standard cameras and other production equipment
• Technical knowledge of camera equipment and understanding of setting up equipment for field shoots
• Ability to approach roadblocks analytically and thoughtfully
• Ability to be detail-oriented and thorough in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, energetic environment and be a team player
• Demonstrated knowledge of online content management systems and multimedia storytelling
• Demonstratee organizational and time management skills under deadline pressure
• Ability to lift, carry and transport production equipment on a regular basis
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
