IT Support Executive (1 Year FTC)
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• IT end user support in a help desk function. Including setup, configuration and problem solving for desktop users on Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook and Office 365.
• Helping new users to access network, email, voicemail, Intranet Apps and IT related equipment.
• Administration and maintenance of user accounts on file servers (Windows server 2019 and Exchange Server), creation / deletion of accounts, password resets, etc.
• Managing different file systems, share permissions on attached storage environments (NAS).
• Managing Antivirus protection systems on clients consisting of Sophos / Symantec.
• Support for remote users (help desk function), diagnosing VPN problems on client side, ensuring remote users can access company systems.
• Support on laptop and desktop OS Issues, and other business related applications, Installation and configuration of software and hardware on desktop systems, including printers, scanners, networking, virus protection, installation of security patches, etc.
• Maintenance of mobile Phones and office phone systems(CISCO/AVAYA)
• Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms
• Raise tickets on servicenow for incident and request management
• The responsibilities are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time by the company.
• Take the lead for CNBC Asia Pacific on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) direction and communication, working closely with Senior Operations Management, Site Leaders, and NBCU/Comcast EHS leaders.

/Requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• At least 2-3 years of experience in an IT support or technical environment, with significant personal computer and/or client / server platform experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer-related field, IT Certifications are preferred.
• Good knowledge and skills on Windows OS 7/10, networking, Windows 2019 server Active Directory.
• Working Knowledge of network environments and concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory and VPN technologies.
• Working knowledge on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Servers (networking and storage) desirable.
• Working Knowledge on MacOS, variants of BSD and FTP servers and web servers desirable.
• Working Knowledge on storage networking (NAS) is a plus.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
