Job Description
CNBC is looking for an experienced financial media editor to edit the work of CNBC investing contributors.
This person should be adept at taking rough copy and turning it into a well-written piece that has the appropriate context and exhibits.
The ideal candidate would be very knowledgeable of investing trends and stock market movements.
The person should also have extensive editing experience, excelling at both speed and quality.
The editor should also have good communication and organization skills as they will have to manage a section of the website and ensure fresh content goes up each day.
Qualifications
• 5 years of financial editing another major publication.
• Experience working in a fast-paced digital newsroom.
• A passion for investing and uncovering new trends on Wall Street.
• Strong journalistic writing and research skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a high-intensity environment collaborating with others, often under tight deadline pressures.

• Clips of standout editing work.
• Established knowledge of investing trends.
• Deep understanding of company and economic fundamentals.
• Past experience at management level.
