Responsibilities
The Coordinating Producer is responsible for managing and executing high quality CNBC Events, creating unique and engaging experiences, in collaboration with the broader team stakeholders, to deliver best in class virtual and physical events for our target audiences, sponsors and speakers .
Responsibilities
will include:
• Lead planning and execution of multiple virtual and physical events simultaneously
• Collaborate on event production with editorial, audience and sales counterparts
• Research and implement new and creative ideas for event production
• Build events within virtual platforms
• Establish and maintain relationships with venues and vendors for virtual and physical events
• Manage and negotiate vendor contracts, including facilitating legal review process
• Work within established timelines and budget parameters for each event
• Coordinate all logistical elements of the event, including location/platform, A/V, staging, branding, design, catering, giveaways
• Create run-of-show, staffing and coverage documents
• Lead multi-team production meetings
• Work with production and technical managers on event details
• Coordinate with sales marketing team to achieve sponsor integrations
• Proactively troubleshoot issues in leadup and on event day
• Solution driven, team player focused on exceeding goals of all key stakeholders
• Remain up-to-date on industry trends and advancements
Qualifications
/Requirements
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 7-10 years virtual and physical event experience
• Experience using multiple virtual event platforms a plus
• Self-starter who can work independently as well as collaborate across teams
• Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation and multitasking skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels of management
• Must be willing to travel
