Job Description

This is a full-time, staff position at CNBC headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. We're looking for a detail-oriented, self-starter to work across digital and television teams.

This Associate Reporter reports and writes stories for CNBC.com based on Jim Cramer's stock market commentary and CEO interviews on ''Mad Money,'' with the opportunity to write broader investing and markets stories. This role serves as an important bridge between ''Mad Money,'' which just celebrated its 20-year anniversary, and the CNBC Investing Club, our flagship subscription platform.

Key Skills
• Be curious about all things business, markets, and investing.
• A willingness to learn every day and take constructive criticism and guidance from editors.
• An ability to identify engaging, actionable insights from Jim's daily commentary, market observations, and CEO interviews.
• Develop an ability to report and write quickly and clearly.
• An enthusiasm for working in digital media.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• At least one year of business reporting experience
• Bachelor's degree and working knowledge of how Wall Street works
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadline pressure
• Solid writing and verbal communication skills, and an ability to work independently and with a team
