Responsibilities
CNBC's Strategic Content group works across all platforms with a focus on liaising between Sales and Editorial teams, creating unique custom opportunities for advertisers, and building differentiated content around key content pillars - such as entrepreneurship, personal finance, and technology.
We are looking for a highly flexible and detail-oriented Analyst to join our team. This individual will work across TV, digital and events to provide support for numerous aspects of the production process, assist with sponsorship execution and fulfilment tasks and function as a critical resource for the team. He/she must be aware of all strategic priorities on a day-to-day basis, pay close attention to the news flow and perform as a key trouble-shooter when necessary.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
• Cutting, tagging and publishing content to digital special reports – including familiarity with a content management system.
• Monitoring TV and Digital content daily for accurate execution of advertiser elements.
• Analyze and manage new social media projects
• Creating/modifying graphics including charts and animations.
• Gathering elements for the development and production of TV segments, digital stories and videos.
• Generate story ideas relevant to key network initiatives
• Research support for key network-wide initiatives: Disruptor50, iCONIC, Top States for Business
• Checking on-air rundowns and graphics systems for required sponsorship elements.
• Being present in the control room during sponsorship launches and select initiatives.
• Maintaining an up-to-date library of content for inclusion in Sales materials, sizzle reels, presentations, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Associate, Bachelor degree, or equivalent industry experience
• Must be adaptive and extremely comfortable multitasking.
• Able to pivot from one task to another without warning.
• Highly organized with proven ability to manage high volumes of information.
• Adept at working in a team setting under tight deadlines.
• An awareness of key issues pertaining to business, markets and the economy.
• Exhibit strong problem solving skills.
• Have an enthusiastic, positive attitude.
• Familiarity with CNBC and business news
Desired Characteristics
• Preferred 2 years of experience in a media organization
