CMT is looking for someone that has exceptional administrative skills and is an extremely detail-oriented, problem solver individual to join our Post Production team as a Coordinator, Production Ops who will be responsible for scheduling, customer service, reconciling completed work and billing. This person must be able to quickly resolve scheduling conflicts, help resolve client concerns, and maintain inventory of office supplies and hard drives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Meet with clients as necessary to review their scheduling needs and ensure that the necessary resources are available to fulfill all requests.
• Establish and maintain relationships with freelance editors.
• Initiate all work orders in our scheduling software and accurately enter information so clients and staff know the requirements for every session.
• Receive media sources from clients and communicate the requests to Media Services and Editorial personnel.
• Create weekly finance reports for producers.
• Use scheduling software to create monthly statements for the finance department.
• Oversee billing and creation of purchase orders.
• Review and verify freelance editor timesheets for payroll.
• Arrange closed captioning with 3rd party vendors for finished programming.
• Coordinate out of house Post Production needs.
• Occasional weekend work required.
• Must maintain regular and predictable attendance. Varying schedules may be required according to business necessity.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years’ related experience.
• Excellent people skills, diplomacy, oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.
• Strong knowledge of the production process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Able to meet tight deadlines and effectively alter post schedules as needed.
• Ability to make tough decisions under pressure.
