Job Summary:
Rocket Arena is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented '2025-26 Seasonal Assistant, Box Office' to support the daily operations of our dynamic box office team. This person will be involved in ticketed events through the AXS & SeatGeek ticketing platforms for various events at Rocket Arena. Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Box Office Operations.
** This is a temporary position from October 2025 - June 2026, that will work onsite at Rocket Arena approx. 40 hours per week.
** Local candidates preferred. There is no relocation assistance provided for temporary positions.
** This role requires flexible working availability, including nights, weekends and occasional Holidays.
** This role requires joining the Local 756 Union.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assists in the preparation of events on sales via AXS and SeatGeek (holds/prices/etc.).
• Reviews events for operational satisfaction, including but not limited to staffing needs, event setup distribution, and the event checklist.
• Assists in the supervision of event shifts.
• Processes ticket orders.
• Assist in processing CRM requests from the sales team.
• Assist customers on phones and at ticket sales window.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University.
• Excellent typing and computer skills are required.
• Customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Sound problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and work efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Must be cooperative, courteous, patient, and tactful in all interactions with guests and others.
• Ability to exercise initiative and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow directions and handle multiple functions simultaneously.
• Must be flexible as working nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
