JOB SUMMARY:
The new Cleveland WNBA team is seeking a highly motivated and energetic 'Sales Representative (WNBA)' to join our Ticket Sales team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sports, sales, and building lasting relationships with fans and the community. As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving ticket revenue and creating memorable experiences for our fans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, including individuals, businesses, and community organizations.
• Identify new sales opportunities and develop creative strategies to generate leads.
• Represent the team at community events to promote ticket sales and enhance fan engagement.
• Consistently exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and sales activity minimum standards, specifically geared towards initial payments in this role.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM software.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with the marketing and social impact & equity teams to support promotional campaigns and special events.
• Collect and process non-refundable initial payments per seat to secure customers' priority on the priority list.
• Maintain accurate records of initial payments and apply them toward future ticket purchases when seats become available.
• Communicate with customers regarding their initial payment status and purchase opportunities.
• Cross sell other REG properties as a full menu seller.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (internship experience welcomed).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the team's schedule.
• Passion for women's sports and commitment to promoting the WNBA brand in Cleveland.
