JOB SUMMARY:
Under direction of the 'Director, Partnership Strategy', the '2025-26 Seasonal Assistant, Corporate Partnerships' is responsible for observing, learning and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Partnerships Team for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Monsters, Charge, and REG (Rock Entertainment Group).
** This is a temporary position from September 2025 - June 2026, that will work onsite at Rocket Arena approx. 40 hours per week, with some duties offsite at various events.
** Local candidates preferred. There is no relocation assistance provided for temporary positions.
PAY RATE: $15.00/HR START DATE: September 8th, 2025
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the monetization of new platforms, campaigns around open inventory and capital projects, and solutions for current and prospective partners across the Cavs, Monsters, Charge and REG, with the majority focus on the Cavs.
• Use systems like SponsorUnited, LinkedIn, and Salesforce for lead generation and assessment of current and future categories.
• Assist in sourcing brand research with ability to analyze data insights to provide context to current and new partnership proposals in concert with the Business Intelligence team.
• Manage and optimize the catalog of partnership inventory in concert with the Business Intelligence and Activation team.
• Responsible for updating documents for department use including platform and asset write-ups and the project status tracker.
• Routinely cultivate and share best practices that have a tangential relationship with sports and entertainment. Leverage those best practices in manner that drives external recognition and internal inspiration.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to report on and discuss ongoing owned projects.
• Perform administrative duties as needed, including setting up meetings, making copies, receiving and breaking down boxes, running errands, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University, preferably in the field of Sports Management, Business, or Marketing (or currently pursuing a BS Degree).
• Must be avaliable to work a minimum of 40 hours per week onsite at Rocket Arena.
• Must be avaliable to work onsite at Rocket Arena Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm. (This is not a part time role and candidates seeking part time hours will not be considered).
• Must be avaliable to work flexible hours including frequent weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, service, and resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues.
• Flexible, motivated, and equipped to work in an environment of rapid change.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
