GSM for KVETAM, 1300 AM The Zone...Austin's All sports station and Flagship Station to the University of Texas sports is looking for a proven leader. If you have a successful track record and are great at growing a sales staff, building revenue generating NTR events, and developing direct business we want to talk to you. A minimum 2 years sales management is required. Familiarity with a Sports or a News talk format would be beneficial.

GSM responsibilities:
•Responsible for meeting or exceeding performance expectations for designated station.
•Anticipates turnover and hires accordingly.
•Set clear expectations with AEs on: performance, Inter-department communication and cluster systems
•Coach and develops Account Executives.
•Establishes and reinforces standards of excellence for prospecting, proposal writing and customer service.
•Manages Strategic Account Management for the station.
•Manages Account Distribution and Account Assignments for the station
•Prices station by utilizing Best Rate, MERS, market conditions and individual AE pending reports
•Accurate forecasting; understands station GAP, develops plans to offset GAP
•Schedules and conducts weekly one-on-ones with AE’s
•Calls on station’s Key Accounts with AE’s
