We are currently seeking a rising 2L or 3L to work as a law clerk in the agency's legal department for the fall semester (potentially continuing into the spring semester). The law clerk will work directly under the Chief Legal Counsel of the Agency and will also work in a team environment with other professional legal staff, Division Directors, and personnel of the Managing Agent's office. This position is unpaid, but we will work with the law clerk to fulfill any requirements for academic credit if needed.
Duties may include: conducting research on various entertainment and corporate-law-related topics, writing memorandums, reviewing contracts, counseling talent (under the supervision of Chief Legal Counsel), and helping implement in-house policies.
Preferred Qualification:
Rising 2L or 3L
Background in entertainment law
Transactional experience
Completed courses in entertainment, copyright, trademark and/or corporations Detail-oriented, quick learner, efficient worker
Ability to manage projects and multitask
Passion for the entertainment industry
