VIDEO SUBTITLE TRANSLATOR (ENGLISH/KOREAN)

This Company is a leading entertainment conglomerate and studio, with business divisions encompassing film production, investment, distribution and exhibition. In addition to making movies, the company has also fully built out its distribution channels, enabling it and its affiliates to not only create films but also ensure that the films reach consumers on multiple media platforms. The company's comprehensive reach in the entertainment industry also includes divisions specializing in character licensing and merchandising, music production, theatrical performance and talent management.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Accurately translate texts from scripts and/or video content (30 - 60 minutes) to reflect the style and tone in the target language
• Ensure that the meaning of the source text is retained in translation
• Proofreading and editing translations and layout review
• Subtitles to fit within the given timecode

Skills:
• Excellent bi-lingual written and verbal communication in English/Korean
• Specialization in TV or related media
• Experience in the subtitling industry is a PLUS
• Strong audible, software, computer literacy, and design skills
• Premiere, Annotation Edit, Sublime software experience is a PLUS
• Professionalism, time management
• MAC savvy
• Attention to details
