As an ambassador for the international theatrical booking, you will be responsible to identify potential venues for the tours and to negotiate contracts with theaters in selected territories and to develop tour plans.
Reporting to the Senior Director of tour planning, you will be required to:
• Develop theater shows' touring strategies and tour plans;
• Negotiate and organize the contracting process for theaters in selected territories;
• Track contract progress and maintain contract status report;
• Identify and negotiate agreements with selected promoters;
• Research, identify and analyze venues in selected territories;
• Identify potential venues for the tours using existing data;
• Collaboration with the finance department for the evaluation of the plans;
• Coordinate the Production Department's assessment of each theater;
• Maintain and develop a network of business relations in each market;
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Minimum ten (10) years' experience in theater booking;
• Strong knowledge of theatrical international market;
• Negotiation skills essential;
• International working experience;
• Tour experience an asset;
• Availability to travel frequently;
• Excellent communications skills in French and English (spoken and written).
