Applicants for our Fall 2022 internship should be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced and professional environment. Attention to detail as well as strong verbal communication and analytical writing skills are essential. Applicants should possess organizational skills and general office and computer skills, including computer familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Ideal candidates will be energetic and have a strong work ethic and basic familiarity with the film business and contemporary independent cinema. Prior internship experience in the film industry is a plus.
We make an effort to expose interns to all potential areas of interest during their time at Cinetic.
Intern duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: evaluating project submissions for consideration, submission coverage, tracking and researching projects in various stages of development/production, general administrative assistance, performing database entry, business development research, and office maintenance.
We require a minimum time commitment of 2 days per week, during the hours of 10:00am-6:00pm ET, ideally beginning week of August 22, 2022 and ending week of January 30, 2022. There is some flexibility on both ends. Applicants must be in the general NYC area, as the internship will require a few days in person at our office in the Financial District. This is a paid internship. Enrollment at least part-time in an educational program is preferred.
