Cinetic Media seeks an LA-based assistant.
Cinetic is a full-service talent management firm that specializes in film and television production, financing, sales, and distribution, as well as strategic and corporate advisory work. The firm represents an exceptional roster of artists and companies, and our projects include GREEN BOOK, FREE SOLO, BEFORE MIDNIGHT, BOYHOOD, CARTEL LAND, AMY, NAPOLEON DYNAMITE, and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, among many others. The firm maintains offices in New York and Los Angeles.
This position will assist one senior executive and work closely with the coordinator in our Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: greeting guests; handling and directing incoming calls; rolling calls; scheduling; script coverage; general administration and office management; and working with staff in New York office to organize internal communications. Excellent opportunity to survey multiple facets of the company and participate in the growth of our newly launched office.
We seek a motivated, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented self-starter with excellent organization, communication and writing skills. The position requires poise and judgement in a dynamic environment with sensitive client-related matters. Successful candidates demonstrate the ability to multi-task and problem solve as well as to discern and articulate qualities of written and produced material. Teamwork is fundamental to our culture.
BA/BS degree is required. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year agency/management company/production company/network experience. A plus if you love dogs as we often have one in the office.
