Internship Overview:
We're looking for a Community + Marketing Intern to work hand-in-hand with the founder to assist with community partnership outreach and translate Cinemauto's voice into social media posts and email newsletters. You will assist in creating content for our platforms and ''We See You'' series - photo, video, and graphic.
You'll grow and cultivate the Cinemauto community via online platforms, partnerships, filmmaker, and artist relationships.
This is a non-paid, internship with flexible hours (minimum 10 hours per week) to reflect your college credit requirements. The position will be out of our dreamy creative workspace, (''The HEALTHYist workplace in LA'') Second Home in Hollywood. * See Bottom for Covid-19 safety info.
What You Can Expect:
Build from the ground up: As part of a tiny team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute dynamic new ideas and help bring them to life!
Hours: This is an internship position (10-15hrs/week) and we'll want to make the most of them! * Occasionally evening events
Strategize content + press strategy: Working closely with our founder/ creative strategist, you'll help with both strategy and execution across channels- from social media management to newsletter copy. You'll be constantly creatively ideating, implementing new strategies, press and content plans for growth, and supporting cross-channel marketing efforts.
Drive community strategy: We want to hear from you about new influencer and partnership opportunities and help make them happen
Who You Are:
Culturally aware of art, film (indie), entertainment, culinary, design, sustainability
You have killer research skills, are highly organized, and pay great attention to detail
You're forward-thinking, driven, committed, and work well under pressure
You have a professional, positive attitude, great personality, excellent communication skills, and are ready for creative ideation contribution
Must be eligible to receive academic credit from your college or university (A MUST)
Must be currently enrolled as a full-time college student working towards your Associate's or Bachelor's degree. (A MUST)
Preferred Qualifications:
Must be eligible to receive academic credit from your college or university
Must be currently enrolled as a full-time college student working towards your Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
Experience in planning, producing, and executing events-film, art, or food events is a plus!
Experience in identifying creative influencers and/or brands- artists, filmmakers, makers
Knowledge of partnership outreach- people, brands, B2B, nonprofits, filmmakers.
Ability to take direction, but also be proactive, self-motivated, and have an entrepreneurial can-do spirit
Love for and familiarity with the Cinemauto brand + community
Experience with WordPress, Mailchimp, Photoshop, Indesign to make programming updates to website and marketing materials as needed
Fluency in organizing, managing, and tracking data and managing communications
Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office (Excel)
Fluency in Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and other social media channels
Timeframe:
The position will last from August- late December (exact dates pending availability)
