Well established, Beverly Hills based, international feature film sales agency seeks dedicated Accounts Manager to oversee the company's finances and assist with closing and tracking contracts. Ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of international film sales and film distribution business, as well as independent film financing. Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of full time experience in similar function.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
-Create invoices for international film distributors
-Maintain several financial status spreadsheets
-Track the company's AR and AP and manage company bank accounts
-AR collections and AP processing
-Create backend financial reporting for film producers
-Enter all project related transactions into the company accounting software
-Standard accounting tasks such as income entry and expense allocations
-Analyze film distribution terms and follow up on reporting obligations
- Create cash flow projections
REQUIREMENTS
Standard accounting practices (SAP) and basic legal knowledge, particularly licensing agreements
Experience dealing with banks, intermediary licensors and financiers
Solid understanding of domestic and international banking systems
Extensive experience with Quickbooks, Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and Google Suite a must
BA required, MBA preferred
Extremely organized individual with strong written and verbal communication skills?
