Series Producer

Series Producer on an upcoming documentary series starting in January 2021 for a 58 week contract. The position is based in the Toronto Ontario Cineflix Productions office.

Responsibilities include: story structure from casting to final delivery of episodes; management of the Story Team including but not limited to story editors, and offline and online editors; and working with Executive Producer and Line Producer to achieve creative ambitions and ensure series is delivered on schedule and on budget.
The series Producer will be involved in day-to-day production and creative development of this new series, and report directly to Executive Producer of the show.

Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Oversee casting and story selection.
- Oversee the creation of in-depth research packages for scripts, post and recreation shoots.
- Review all cuts with Story Team to evaluate continuity, quality
- Work with Executive Producer to review and address notes, provide feedback on revisions as required

Qualification/requirements:
- Strong verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and keep a team on schedule in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in leading and fostering a team
