Part Time Paid Internship
Department: Ticket Sales & Service
Job Titles: Ticket Department Office Intern / Ticket Department Game Day Intern
Reports To: Manager of: Season, Premium, Group, Single Game & Consumer Clubs or Customer Service
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Job Purpose: The Cincinnati Reds Ticket Department is seeking several dedicated and team oriented individuals to fill a variety of roles for the 2019 baseball season. Interns will assist sales and service staff to meet and exceed department expectations. Internships begin in March 2019 and will run through September 2019. Available roles include:
• Office Internships:
• Season Sales (1 position)
• Premium Sales (2 positions)
• Group Sales (1 position)
• Single Game Sales (1 position)
• Game Day Internships:
• Responsible for general game day sales and service across all Ticketing Departments (multiple positions available)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Gain knowledge of products and overall ticketing business.
• Responsible for working on a computerized ticketing system.
• Responsible for providing an exceptional experience for every guest that visits Great American Ball Park.
• Generate reports from ticketing system and Microsoft Excel.
• Conduct inbound and outbound touch points via phone calls and emails.
• Mail ticket orders and product information.
• Provide a high level of service for Ticket and Consumer Club clients.
• Assist with planning and staffing of events.
• Perform in-seat visits, assist with guest services, and staff VIP Ticket Concierge.
• Be knowledgeable of all aspects of Ticket packages and Consumer Clubs memberships.
• Keep Ticket and Consumer Clubs locations in the ballpark clean, organized, and adequately stocked.
• Track and record daily sales and payments.
• Execute sales inside the ballpark on game days.
• Must be attentive to guests' needs, have full knowledge of all policies, services, and facility locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Currently pursuing, or have earned, an undergraduate or graduate degree in Sports Management, Business or related field preferred.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, good grammar, voice and diction.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing situations as necessary and resolve guest issues in real time.
• Ability to understand products and services, research and communicate information in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling is required and will involve evenings, weekends and holidays (up to 40 hours per week).
Physical Demands:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; occasionally lift.
Work Environment:
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; however, employee may have ''game day'' responsibilities where the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
• Hours may include nights, weekends and holidays.
Please Note:
• Multiple internships are available for either Office or Game Day positions.

• This is a seasonal opportunity and no benefits will be provided.
• Seasonal staff members are paid at State of Ohio minimum wage.
