Key senior position in charge of managing company-wide operations and developing a platform for growth, including building processes and tracking performance. NYC-based position with extensive travel, particularly in the summer concert/festival season. Compensation based on experience.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
-Lead and manage all day-to-day company operations, including developing scalable process and documentation to ensure flawless client- & guest-facing execution as the company grows
-Project/client-focused: project management, ticketing, hotels, customer service, creative, online, marketing
-Corporate/overhead: finance/accounting, legal, tax, HR, liability/risk, facilities, business development, executive
-Develop company-wide staffing strategy, including intern programs, and manage it on an ongoing basis for all company activities and projects
-Work closely with external clients to develop and communicate operational aspects of programs, including program development, ticketing, and reporting
-Serve as a key member of the executive team to set company's strategic direction
-Evaluate potential projects' operational viability & create project budgets
-Oversee timely delivery of all initial project information required to activate project team
-Ensure effective communication and coordination across all departments and project teams
-Continuously enhance operational efficiency through internal policies, procedures, technologies,
communication, and strategic vendor / partner relationships
-Manage all CID operational inventory and its movement
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
-10+ years operating experience in live events (music, sports, theater, food, corporate, etc.) or similar, focused on growing a business in ideally both an entrepreneurial and traditional corporate environment
-Exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills, including attention to detail
-Strong strategic, analytic, budgeting/forecasting, and business planning skills
-Ability to evaluate and simplify complex ideas into clear and actionable concepts for all
stakeholders, particularly senior management and clients
-Team player focused on generating long term value
-On-site live event production, ticketing, and customer service experience/familiarity a plus
