POSITION: Manager, Corporate Partnerships Development
REPORTS TO: Director, Corporate Partnerships Development

Job Description Summary
The Manager, Corporate Partnerships Development is responsible for creating, developing and selling fully integrated partnerships with local, regional and national companies. These partnerships consist of in-park signage, scoreboard features, retail promotions, publication advertising, event sponsorships & promotions, corporate hospitality, White Sox digital media, Chicago White Sox Charities events, White Sox Spring Training facility at Camelback Ranch and other marketing opportunities at Guaranteed Rate Field. This person will be responsible for driving a high level of new business as well as managing several existing accounts. This position reports to the Director of Corporate Partnerships Development.
Responsibilities
• Target and identify potential corporate partners through cold calling, networking and presenting partnership opportunities to key decision-makers.
• Analyze corporate partner's objectives and develop marketing solutions to meet their needs.
• Work closely with the Director of Corporate Partnerships Development and other members of the corporate partnerships development team to achieve departmental revenue goals.
• Work closely with department activation coordinators to ensure that all marketing assets included in a partnership are delivered in accordance with provisions of each agreement.
• Work closely with other departments within the organization on corporate partnership related programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
and Experience
• 5 years of professional team and/or sports sponsorship sales experience.
• Must possess an aggressive cold call sales approach and develop a strong leads list.
• Must be an assertive, dedicated, self-motivated team player that has the ability to focus on both team and individual revenue goals and objectives.
• Excellent people skills with an ability to communicate effectively with clients and fellow employees.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be creative, well organized, possess a strong work ethic, desire to excel and willingness to learn.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point. CRM database management experience a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
