The Chicago Cubs are seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to support Cubs operations by managing inbound deliveries, coordinating inventory, and moving goods. This role is essential for maintaining efficient operations and delivering high-quality experiences for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely handle product movements and adhere to warehouse policies and procedures.
• Drive vehicles such as a 16-foot box truck, forklifts, scissor lifts, and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and communicate results effectively.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and optimized for space utilization.
• Assist with special event labor projects throughout the Chicago area.
• Support various departments such as grounds crew, cleaning, setup, events, security, and engineering.
• Obtain industry-specific certifications as required.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work 30 hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and slide packages up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks such as bending, squatting, kneeling, and walking long distances.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency with software and digital tools.
