POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Chicago Bulls are seeking a highly motivated, organized and dedicated individual to become a full-time Ticket Executive. You will be given the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and sell season tickets, partial plans and group packages via phone calls, face-to-face appointments and special events. We are seeking an individual who is an excellent teammate and willing to help out wherever they are needed, including other departments in the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Ticket Executive, a large part of your success will come by utilizing sales and service strategies, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture and database management. Additionally, it will be a priority to provide outstanding customer service to our dedicated and committed fans. More specifically, you are responsible for the following:
• Meet and exceed department and individual sales goals for the organization
• Consistently make outbound and take inbound calls to maximize season, group and rental suite sales
• Build and maintain our CRM database with potential group and season ticket customers
• Actively attempt to retain non-renewed season ticket accounts
• Upgrade seat locations for renewed Season Ticket Holders
• Provide help with the logistics and staffing of large group events
• Diligently make phone calls during the season and off-season to maintain relationships with our loyal customers
• Provide assistance with onboarding and mentoring for our annual Inside Sales Program
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree with business focus or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sports team sales, general business sales, or sports management is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs, as well as CRM and ticketing software; expertise in the Archtics Ticketing System is a plus
• Excellent teammate, with positive energy, who has a desire to learn
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Highly organized and strong time management skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
• Works effectively and quickly in a dynamic environment
• Initiative and dedication to challenge self and continually strive for improvement
Note that this role requires flexible work hours and may include work outside of normal office hours during the business week and on weekends.
