The Chicago Bears are looking for Part-Time team members to support our Events and Entertainment (E&E) Department during the 2018 season. This position will include 11 events from August 2018 - January 2019.
Responsibilities:
• Assist and support the E&E team in the execution of operational, hospitality and entertainment needs during home games and Family Fest including but not limited to areas outside of stadium, concourse, hospitality areas, stadium bowl and field level.
• Attend staff meetings and work with team members to deliver helpful, friendly, and professional customer service to fans in order to enhance the stadium experience.
• Setup and breakdown of signage and other operational or entertainment equipment and activities.
• Monitor assigned area(s) to ensure fan safety and that other needs are met. This may include interaction with both adults and kids as well as additional support for entertainment groups and other game presentation areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree (or actively pursuing) in Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
• Previous experience in events, marketing, or customer service is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to work the entire duration of 2018 preseason and regular season (August-January).
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to exhibit enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor while maintaining a professionalism.
• Must take initiative, be able to adapt to a variety of situations, and work as a part of a team in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time in varying weather conditions, walk long distances, climb up/down stairs and lift heavy objects.
