What We Want

Chernin Entertainment is seeking interns for our 6-month 2023 program. We'll be holding our 2023 internship program virtually (with one or two in-person events, with travel covered) from June through the end of the year in December. Specifically, we are looking for recent 2023/2022 graduates, students graduating at the end of the 2023 Spring Semester, and alumni seeking to break into the entertainment industry. This is a paid internship starting at $17/hour. The internship is purely virtual, so candidates may be based anywhere in the US. Based on the company's needs, interns can be considered for full-time roles at the end of their internship term.

Our internship program includes a wide variety of tasks. The primary goals for bringing on interns who will aid our executives in assessing incoming material, putting together research projects for potential new projects, and bringing a fresh perspective to our current projects - all while we educate them on the entertainment business. This hands-on internship will include face time with both assistants and executives. Interns will attend (via Zoom) internal creative meetings, during which they're exposed to discussions on incoming material, up-and-coming talent, and project status/tracking.

The ideal candidate is driven, savvy, capable, and passionate. While we love our film buffs and our TV geeks, we are also looking for those who are well-versed in topics including, but not limited to, literature/books, theater/Broadway, popular music, anime/manga, art, comic books/graphic novels, pop culture, etc. We want interns with eclectic and varied interests who can expand our company's collective expertise and culture.
