Seeking top-notch, highly motivated, executive assistant/personal assistant with excellent people and communication skills to support Owners/Directors and staff of Academy Award-winning DC production company. In-person attendance required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Heavy Scheduling, maintaining calendar. Liaise with other outside EA's to coordinate all booked communication. Prior assistant experience preferred.
• Oversee tech needs for all phone calls, Zoom, or Google Meet Setup. Familiarity with these platforms is preferred.
• Social media channel support, including original posting in the creative culture of the company, and for specific films.
• Main Support for Directors: logistics, travel, booking meetings, zoom/calls. Emphasis on personal tasks (around 20% of the job)
• Maintaining Google Drive filing system, handling all electronic and paper filing.
• Maintain filing and deadline compliance with taxes, guild dues, guild reporting, etc.
• Conduct research for film development.
• Handle all tracking, communication and calendars of current film festival submissions, notable industry developments and trades.
• Occasional production support as backup within active productions.
• Communicate financial schedule deadline/calendar to owners and liaise as needed with financial admin such as bookkeeper and accountant.
• Maintain office management and perform runs as needed.
SKILLS
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Requires excellent attention to detail, work ethic, and be able to work independently.
• Must be highly proficient on Google Platform, Excel, DocuSign, Mac platforms
• A plus if candidate is experienced with Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva platform and overall tech savvy within media and IT support.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 1 year experience as executive assistant or personal assistant within industry related field, and/or will be open to support roles in other production companies with excellent references.
• Pay range: depending on experience (55-70k) benefits include vacation pay and personal days. Health package not yet available.
• Interest in documentary films, a plus!
Salary/Benefits
$55,000.00 - 70,000.00 per year
