We are a fast growing event/entertainment company. We are multi-faceted in offering space for music rehearsals, broadcast stage as well as full service event production. We are looking for a rock star Production Manager that's ready to kick back and stay local, ready to settle down so to speak.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
*Dependability. Always on time.
*Customer/Client oriented. They are #1. Without them we would have no business.
*Friendly. We deal with high profile customers on a daily basis and you will have to maintain a strong but professional attitude at all times.
*Detail oriented.
*Ability to open/close a sale.
*Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
*Ability to manage 2-10 employees at a time.
*Understanding of event production (height requirements, basic stage building, console knowledge, rigging, etc.)
Responsibilities Include:
*Scheduling employees to work warehouse and all events/gigs
*Managing and budgeting allocated payroll hours/dollars
*Building quotes for clients that include backline items, labor, staging, any items to successfully execute an event or rehearsal.
*Building relationships with sub-vendors
*Maintain an expense log and working with accounting to supply all correct invoices due and receipts. As well as communicating petty cash needs.
*Manage 2-10 employees at a time. This includes correct documentation for reviews/warnings/termination.
*Controlling the movement of warehouse (inventory in/out, repairs, organization)
*Helping with R2 software integration.
*Driving company vehicles and maintaining.
Requirements:
*At least 3 years as a production manager/event production warehouse lead/event coordinator.
*Quick Books knowledge
*MAC proficient
*Valid Driver's License
*iCal/Outlook Calendar
*Music Equipment/Staging/Lighting/Video knowledge of some form.
