Casting for Destined, a new independent crime drama inspired by true events. Destined delves into the unseen dangers lurking beneath the surface and the inevitability of life's unexpected twists-whether we're ready for them or not.
1. Director of Photography (DP)
Responsible for the visual look of the film, including camera work, lighting design, and shot composition. Collaborates closely with the director to bring the story to life visually.
2. 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC)
Maintains focus during shooting, manages camera equipment, and supports the DP with technical camera operations.
3. Gaffer
Leads the lighting department. Works with the DP to design and execute lighting setups that match the mood and tone of each scene.
4. Grip
Handles rigging, camera movement (dollies, tracks), and lighting support. Works under the key grip to ensure safe and efficient set-ups.
5. Sound Mixer/Boom Operator
Captures clear, high-quality on-set audio. Responsible for operating boom microphones and mixing sound levels live during production.
6. Production Designer
Creates the overall visual concept of the film's settings. Oversees set design, props, and art direction to ensure visual cohesion.
7. Script Supervisor
Tracks continuity, dialogue, and shot details to ensure consistency throughout filming. Works closely with the director and editor.
8. Hair & Makeup Artist
Provides makeup and basic hairstyling for cast members, ensuring visual consistency with the script and scenes.
9. Production Assistant (PA)
Entry-level support position assisting all departments with various tasks on set. Ideal for fast learners with a strong work ethic.
