Paid Intern - Post Production

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

CH Media (CollegeHumor) is hiring two (2) paid Assistant Editor interns to work in our post-production department for the Fall 2019 semester. Our interns work hands on with Assistant Editors, Editors, Producers and Systems Engineer.
Responsibilities include:
• Prepping CollegeHumor Original sketches for editorial (including footage ingesting, transcoding proxies, syncing sound to picture, logging footage, backing up footage on hard drives)
• Filling out music cue sheets
• Updating and organizing post-department spreadsheets (and other documentation) about hard drives, cables, and other hardware.
• Prepping and checking in/out hard drives from the production team and freelance editors.
• Assisting editors with technical troubleshooting on department iMac computers.
• Providing editorial assistance on sketches, marketing materials, and Dropout original content when applicable.
Requirements:
• A strong interest in post-production
• Ability to follow protocols and a strong eye for detail
• Familiarity and experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro CC (After Effects knowledge is a plus)
• Ability to work independently and with team members in a fast pace environment to meet quick deadlines
• It is also a big plus if you have: editing and/or Assistant Editing experience, and familiarity with CollegeHumor content
• Prefer for interns to have prior experience in a professional internship environment
Schedule:
• At least two (2) days per week, Monday through Friday, 10AM-6PM, in our West Hollywood office
• This is a paid internship for up to 40 hours a week (minimum wage)
Rate: $14.25/Hr
