Central Entertainment Group is seeking a passionate and hard-working full-time Senior Director of Business Development to join the New York City team in our midtown office.
The ideal candidate has a background in business development, marketing and sales, has a network of brand clients, and demonstrates strong leadership skills to oversee sales strategy and business development. Must have at least eight years of experience in a business development role in a marketing, talent, influencer, advertising, or creative agency.
Day to day job duties include overseeing the business development and sales strategy to obtain new brand clients, nurture existing brands, implement tools and processes to create a company wide sales and business development strategy, internal KPI's, utilizing network and previous relationships with brand clients to generate leads, handling negotiations and partnerships, brand outreach, and working closely with the brand and talent teams to close deals.
The Senior Director of Business Development should be sales and goals-oriented, outgoing, and have a competitive personality with a drive to reach decision makers and is an individual who takes pride in prospecting and lead-generation sales activities. Candidates must respect the confidentiality requirements of the role and be comfortable communicating with brands, celebrities, influencers, agencies, and management companies.
This position will report directly to the VP of Partnerships at Central Entertainment Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sources, nurtures and maintains new business leads by conveying CEG's strategic and creative capabilities
Drives growth of top-line sales revenue in support of company growth objectives year after year with benchmarks to be mutually agreed upon
Builds tools, strategies, and products to support business development and partnerships teams
Develops end-to-end sales processes to attract new brand clients which are transferable, and supportive of company capabilities
Sets company wide KPIs that are relevant to understanding revenue growth and market share targets
Manages business development manager and assistant and directs documentation process for all sales transactions, from RFP to MSA
Prospects, generates, qualifies, processes, and follow up on possible brand client leads
Creates innovative sales products to offer prospective clients, working closely with head of partnerships to close on proposals and leads
Provides strategy and support on castings and RFP's and runs company wide sales training sessions
Identifies sales leads, prospects, and opportunities for business growth
Provides sales and insight reports on competition in the market to department heads and executive team
Maintains and builds relationships with brands, agencies, talent and media companies
Creates and builds qualified lead generation process to attract new brands
Oversees sales inquiries from clients, the partnerships team and the talent teamCreates sales scripts and marketing materials for pitches such as capabilities decks to ensure the best offering for each client.
Attend industry events and keep up with relevant news to ensure we the Agency is proactively sourcing new prospects.
Provide insight on growth areas, per client feedback.
Continue to follow up with clients after the sale to ensure they are receiving the best possible customer experience.

SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Knowledge of Quickbase, Quickbooks, Google Drive, WeTransfer, Box, Dropbox, Slack
Basic knowledge of design templates and platforms like Canva and Photoshop
Organizational and project management skills
